Welcome to Edge Oaklands Park, a caring, community-minded childcare and preschool centre right here in Oaklands Park. Families travelling in from Warradale, Morphettville and Glengowrie find us a friendly, practical option on the daily commute. Parents looking for dependable Oaklands Park childcare tell us it’s our people and the level of comfort and care they provide children that make the difference.
Little learners from six weeks to school age enjoy rich, play-based learning at Edge Oaklands Park, supported by educators who take the time to get to know each child and prioritise open communication with families. Our bespoke Teach A Rainbow education program shapes every experience, from our nursery through to our preschool classroom.
Our preschoolers regularly graduate to start their school journey at Warradale Primary School, Paringa Park Primary School, Brighton Primary School and Glenelg Primary School, and we spend time preparing each child for the everyday routines of their first year, and a lifelong love of learning. We’re a 2 minute drive to Warradale Primary School, which is a welcome bonus for busy families balancing school runs and the weekly shop.
Our outdoor space is a favourite with the children, featuring a popular bike track, cubby house, fort, sandpit, mud kitchen, slide, swing, vegetable and herb garden, bush tucker garden and water play area. The building itself has been set up with families in mind, with a dining room on hand and allied health professional visits scheduled to make family life simpler. Our multi-lingual team integrate learning across the curriculum, including a STEM program, music and sustainability as highlights.
Every decision we make starts with your child’s wellbeing. From our daily room routines focused on school readiness, to our ongoing safeguarding training and our commitment to the national child safety principles, we work hard to make Oaklands Park a place where children feel truly secure. Our focus is on the skills children will use when they start school and learning for life, not just the academic ones, but the social, emotional and self-regulation skills they’ll lean on in the classroom and the playground.
Whether you’re looking for nursery, toddler or preschool education, book a tour with our team at Oaklands Park. We can’t wait to meet you.
