State-of-the-art Childcare Centre Opens in North Harbour
Edge Early Learning’s newest centre which opened on Monday, was the first childcare centre of its kind for the area, located in the new development area of North Harbour, QLD.
The new purpose-built facility will provide state-of-the-art learning resources and spacious outdoor play areas equip with bike tracks, sand pits, water play stations and more.
Catering to working families within the community, the North Harbour centre will provide childcare services for up to 120 children from 6-weeks to school age and offer long, convenient day care hours from 6.30am to 6.30pm.
Edge Early Learning Chief Executive Officer, Annie Bryce, said she looks forward to introducing the provision of high-quality childcare to the local area, especially in this current climate.
“There is increasing reliance on childcare services as the country battles the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many parents, now more than ever, need to rely on reputable, health-responsive and compliant centres that deliver a high level of care.”
“Opening more early learning centres is critical to helping with the shortage of places and being the only centre of its kind at North Harbour will give parents an option in the vicinity of their homes.”
As a full-service childcare provider, the centre will also be one of the first within the network to rollout Edge Early Learning’s sustainability practices, providing children with eco-friendly nappies and wipes which are biodegradable and made from 100% pure bamboo.
Located on Cnr Buckley Road and Fraser Drive, Burpengary East, QLD 4505, Edge Early Learning North Harbour officially opened to the public on Monday 23rd of March, with 28 families already enrolled and 50 families booked in for tours.
