26 May, 2022
The word is out! Edge Early Learning is growing and have expanded into South Australia!
Following an announcement earlier this month, expansion plans have progressed in the southern state with 17 centres acquired in suburban communities and developing areas around the state.
The expansion marks new territory growth for Edge Early Learning, signalling a milestone with close to 50 centres for the group since our establishment in 2017 – and more on the way.
Edge plans to introduce our state-of-the-art centre model, learning philosophy and sustainability focus across all SA childcare centres located in Aldinga Beach, Angle Vale, Brahma Lodge, Gawler East, Mount Barker, Munno Para West, Strathalbyn, Virginia, Plympton, Oaklands Park, Royal Park, Port Adelaide, Hallett Cove, Port Pirie and Port Augusta West.
CEO Annie Bryce believes Edge’s recognised brand of early learning services will enhance the current offering, while meeting the growing demand for access to quality childcare in South Australia. “We have built a reputable educational practice in the early learning space on the East Coast and have been looking to take Edge Early Learning to areas that are seeking quality childcare and education,” she said.
“We create a sense of community to give children the best opportunity to develop new skills and learn about the world around us with our inquiry based learning curriculum.”
“The acquisition of this large number of South Australian centres is both aligned with our growth plans and provides an opportunity to establish ourselves immediately as a leader in the market.”
With the backing of a passionate team of experienced educators, our educational programs support and enhance learning milestones and journeys across all areas of early development from 6 weeks to school age through our four pillars – education, wellbeing, relationships, and sustainability.
Edge’s strong sustainability focus will also be implemented across all centres in SA, through the introduction of environmentally friendly cleaning products, biodegradable bamboo wipes, recycle stations, and vegetable gardens.
SA centres will be rebranded over the coming months and our education curriculum introduced, providing children access to modern resources, equipment, and books.
In-house chefs will also provide nutritious meals daily, including, morning tea, lunch and afternoon snacks, all served in a communal setting to encourage socialisation.
Edge Early Learning is known for its state-of-the-art early learning centres that support the needs of the community and offer added conveniences to families, while being committed to delivering an exceptional experience where children can discover their potential and start school with a love of learning.
