Our early learning centre in Seaford Heights is convenient for families located in and around Seaford, Seaford Rise and Old Noarlunga.
We welcome children from 6 weeks to school age into our childcare and kindergarten program. In our purpose-built indoor and outdoor learning environments, qualified teachers and educators deliver Edge’s bespoke Teach A Rainbow program, personalised to your child’s interests and individual learning goals. Children learn through play with engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that are aligned to the national curriculum. Our classrooms also benefit from art atelier rooms where children participate in the creative arts, while strengthening their imagination, emotional intelligence and problem-solving.
We offer year-round care with long day care hours to suit busy family schedules, and a school readiness focus to build your child’s confidence for a smooth transition to school.
Our qualified team is highly experienced in early learning and builds strong, trusting relationships with children and families to support a confident start to school. Children from our centre will often go on to attend Seaford Rise Primary School, All Saints Catholic School, Moana Primary School, Tatachilla Lutheran School or McLaren Vale Primary.

Kindergarten Program delivered by a qualified Teacher
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) can cover up to 95% of your daily child care costs, depending on your family’s eligibility. From January 2026, eligible families can receive a minimum 3-days of subsidised care.

At our Seaford childcare and kindergarten, we’re guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and our play-based and inquiry-led learning experiences span 11 Key Learning Areas: STEM; creative arts, music and drama; fundamental movement and fine motor skills; sensory learning; social and emotional life-skill building, health, and wellbeing; community, sustainability and culture; Indigenous perspectives; literacy, language and numeracy.

A: There is no difference in the quality of the Kindergarten education program offered at Edge Seaford Heights versus a community or stand-alone Kindergarten. Our program meets the Early Years Learning Framework (national curriculum) and is taught by a degree qualified Early Childhood Teacher.
What sets us apart is our Teach A Rainbow education program in Kindergarten, which is exclusive to Edge. The other main difference between our Seaford Kindergarten and other standalone providers is family flexibility. Our Childcare and Kindergarten run year-round, with long daycare session hours (how long we can care for your child each day) for those families that need it. This means you don’t need to find alternative care for your child during the school holidays, or outside of the planned Kindergarten program each day.
A: At Edge Early Learning Seaford Heights, we aim to make life as easy as possible for you, so we supply most of the necessities including sustainable nappies, wipes, sunscreen, bedding, and nutritious meals (breakfast through to a late snack) to ensure your child is well-cared for throughout the day. However, there are a few items that you will need to bring to ensure your child has everything they need:
A: We’re conveniently located off Main Street, on Espial Street in Seaford Heights. We’re just a 5 minute drive to the Seaford Train Station and 6 minute from Seaford Rise Primary School. Plus, we offer on-site parking for added ease and accessibility.
A: Yes! Your child will enjoy fresh, nutritious meals prepared daily by our on-site chef, using recipes developed in collaboration with accredited dietitians at The Biting Truth. Designed with growing bodies in mind, our seasonal 4-week rotating menus are designed to be age-appropriate and nutritionally balanced, aligning with the Australian Dietary Guidelines to support healthy growth and development. Featuring a variety of whole foods and culturally inspired dishes, meals can be tailored to suit individual tastes, dietary needs, and allergy requirements—ensuring every child receives nourishing meals each day.
