From meaningful relationships to a nurturing learning environment, we’re proud to create a place where children feel secure, supported, and excited to learn every day. Our team pride themselves on their sector-leading reputation as nurturing, supportive, caring and knowledgeable. We welcome this feedback through family surveys every single month.

Edge Pimpama Village is proud to support Pimpama families with high-quality early education and kindy that feels like an extension of home. We’re a convenient choice for families living in Ormeau, Willow Vale and Coomera. Our Pimpama kindergarten is built on strong relationships, play-based learning and caring educators.

Little learners from six weeks to school age enjoy rich, play-based days here, supported by educators who take the time to get to know each child. Our bespoke Teach A Rainbow education program shapes every learning experience, from our nurseries through to our kindy classroom. Our kindy children take part in the government-approved and funded free kindergarten program delivered by our qualified early childhood teacher, giving every child the strong foundation they need for school.

Many of our children graduate to attend Pimpama State School, Gainsborough State School, King’s Christian College and Lutheran Ormeau Rivers District School (LORDS) with their friends. We’re a 3 minute drive to King’s Christian College, which is a welcome bonus for busy families balancing school runs and daycare.

Our outdoor environment invites children to climb, dig, splash, create and wonder, with our popular bike track, fort, sandpits, mud kitchen, slides, vegetable and herb garden, yarning circle, dry creek bed and feature water spout to explore. Inside, the centre includes an art atelier room adjoining classrooms and meals expertly made fresh by our in-house chef. We want you to feel at ease with the finer details including our breastfeeding-friendly parents’ room, and full suite of optional extra-curricular activities in centre, thoughtful touches that make daily life and busy family schedules that much easier.

Above all, your child’s wellbeing sits at the heart of everything we do. Our team is committed to safeguarding through ongoing training, strong daily practices and adherence to the national child safety principles, so you can feel genuinely at ease when you drop off each morning. When school beckons, your child will step into it with a strong sense of self, the natural result of years spent being known, challenged and cheered on by a team that loves what they do.

Our centre is located opposite Pimpama City Shopping Centre, on Village Boulevard. Looking for a different local Edge centre? Check out Edge Pimpama on Charles Avenue, Edge North Pimpama on Old Pacific Hwy, and Edge Coomera on Vanes Street.

Meet our Centre Director, Kathryn

Hi, I’m Kathryn. I have 15 years of experience and a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. I’ve grown from trainee through to Centre Director, and have been part of the Edge Pimpama community since 2020, helping open Edge Pimpama Village in 2023.

I’ve always been passionate about creating safe, nurturing environments where curious minds are inspired and children grow into strong, independent individuals. My goal is for Edge Pimpama Village to feel like a true home away from home, a place where children feel secure, supported, and a genuine sense of belonging. Over the years, our centre has become exactly what its name suggests, a village of support for every child, family, and educator who is part of it.

We warmly welcome families from Pimpama and the surrounding Gold Coast community. Book a tour to come and meet our team!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I enrol my child?

A: The first step is to tour your preferred Edge Early Learning and Kindergarten centre by booking a tour. This gives you an opportunity to meet our educators, explore our nurturing environment, and understand how we can provide an experience that is best suited to your child. After your tour, you’ll receive an enrolment form to secure a spot or join the waitlist.

Q: Is there availability at the centre or a waitlist?

A: Whether your child is starting soon or at a later date, we’re here to help. Our Family Engagement Team can let you know what places are available in each classroom. If there isn’t a spot available when you need it, we can add your child to our waitlist.

Q: What is the Child Care Subsidy (CCS)?

A: The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a federal government subsidy designed to help Australian families with the cost of approved childcare. The amount you receive depends on your family’s income, the type of care, and your recognised activity hours. Learn about CCS.

Q: How do I apply for the Childcare Subsidy (CCS)?

A: Applying for the Child Care Subsidy is simple; however, you should apply early to ensure you are ready to receive subsidised care in time for your child’s first day at Edge Pimpama Village. To apply for the CCS:

  • Set up your Centrelink online account through MyGov
  • Prove your identity through documentation to be able to claim payments (you can do this online or in-person at Centrelink)
  • Gather supporting documents including payslips, birth certificate, and medical records
  • Submit supporting documents in your Centrelink online account or the express plus Centrelink mobile app. You can also mail, fax, or visit a service centre.
  • Lodge your application via MyGov.
  • Once this is lodged, Edge Early Learning, as your childcare provider, will input your enrolment details and lodge your application for you to get it fully processed.
  • The Government will then notify you to confirm your subsidy eligibility and entitlement (how much they will subsidise off your childcare cost).

For more information on the application process, including how to do the childcare subsidy assessment, visit Services Australia website.
