Our early learning centre in Ngunnawal is convenient for families located in and around Amaroo, Casey, and Nicholls.
We welcome children from 6 weeks to school age into our childcare and preschool program. In our purpose-built indoor and outdoor learning environments, qualified teachers and educators deliver Edge’s bespoke Teach A Rainbow program, personalised to your child’s interests and individual learning goals. Children learn through play with engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that are aligned to the national curriculum.
We embrace First Nations culture and our native surroundings on Ngunnawal Land. Children connect to Country by exploring native flora, creating Aboriginal art, and learning through Dreamtime stories.
We offer year-round care with long day care hours to suit busy family schedules, and our Preschool program is government-approved for your peace of mind.
Our qualified team is highly experienced in early learning and builds strong, trusting relationships with children and families to support a confident start to school. Children from our centre will often go on to attend Ngunnawal Primary School, Gold Creek School, Amaroo School, Holy Spirit Catholic School, Palmerston District Primary School, Margaret Hendry School, Harrison School, and Franklin School.

Government-approved 3-year-old Preschool program
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) can cover up to 95% of your daily child care costs, depending on your family’s eligibility. From January 2026, eligible families can receive a minimum 3-days of subsidised care.

Our government‑approved 3-year-old Preschool program is delivered by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher and experienced educators to build school-ready skills such as early literacy, numeracy, independence, self-help skills, emotional regulation, and social skills.
Eligible families can access the 3-year-old Preschool subsidy (7.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per year)* at our centre to reduce out‑of‑pocket costs.

A: The first step is to tour your preferred Edge Early Learning and Kindergarten centre by booking a tour. This gives you an opportunity to meet our educators, explore our nurturing environment, and understand how we can provide an experience that is best suited to your child. After your tour, you’ll receive an enrolment form to secure a spot or join the waitlist.

A: At Edge Early Learning Ngunnawal, we aim to make life as easy as possible for you, so we supply most of the necessities including sustainable nappies, wipes, sunscreen, bedding, and nutritious meals (breakfast through to a late snack) to ensure your child is well-cared for throughout the day. However, there are a few items that you will need to bring to ensure your child has everything they need:
A: We’re conveniently located on the corner of Yarrawonga Street and Jabanungga Avenue, next to the Ngunnawal Shopping Village, making it convenient for busy families. Plus, we’re only a 2 minute walk from the nearest bus stop and we offer on-site parking for added ease and accessibility. We’re also only a 3 minute drive from Ngunnawal Primary School.
A: Yes! Your child will enjoy fresh, nutritious meals prepared daily by our on-site chef, using recipes developed in collaboration with accredited dietitians at The Biting Truth. Designed with growing bodies in mind, our seasonal 4-week rotating menus are designed to be age-appropriate and nutritionally balanced, aligning with the Australian Dietary Guidelines to support healthy growth and development. Featuring a variety of whole foods and culturally inspired dishes, meals can be tailored to suit individual tastes, dietary needs, and allergy requirements—ensuring every child receives nourishing meals each day.
A: At our Ngunnawal day care and Preschool, all extra-curricular activities are included in your daily fees — no extra charges!
Additionally, a First Nations musician, dancer and artist from Wiradjuri Echoes visits our centre monthly to enrich our program with cultural learning and storytelling.
