At Edge Marsden, we are passionate about enabling children to learn, grow and develop at their own level and in their own way. We aim to be respectful of the natural environment and improve learning outcomes as we educate children about the world around them. We have a strong belief in cultural and community connection and believe that incorporating these beliefs into children’s learning will provide a better future for everyone. The team and I are dedicated to building lasting connections with our families through excellent communication and an open door policy. Edge Early Learning Marsden, previously known as Marsden Kindergarten and Child Care Centre, provides quality early learning programs tailored to children aged six weeks to 6 years with the convenience of long daycare hours. Our newly acquired childcare centre is still run by the same team of long-standing, qualified educators who work closely with each child to understand their interests and tailor our programs accordingly, to facilitate a love of learning.
Our daily fees include nutritious meals prepared daily by our on-site chef using fresh local produce, sustainable nappies, wipes, and sunscreen.
We believe in creating indoor/outdoor learning environments that inspire play-based learning and boost physical, cognitive, and social development. Our learning environments have recently been renovated to give children access to innovative indoor and outdoor learning areas, modern resources, equipment, and books.
At Edge Marsden, we implement an inquiry-based approach, where children are encouraged to ask questions, explore new ideas, and learn through play. This type of learning is particularly beneficial in developing problem-solving and communication skills. We aim to foster strong relationships with their peers, helping build their confidence as they move into our Kindergarten program and into school.
