We welcome children from 6 weeks to school age into our childcare and preschool program. In our purpose-built indoor and outdoor learning environments, qualified teachers and educators deliver Edge’s bespoke Teach A Rainbow program, personalised to your child’s interests and individual learning goals. Children learn through play with engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that are aligned to the national curriculum. With calming spacious indoor learning areas and natural outdoor play areas dedicated to each age group. We are equipped with sandpits, a cubby house, natural gardens, spacious classrooms, modern resources and more!

We offer year-round care with long day care hours to suit busy family schedules, and a school readiness focus to build your child’s confidence for a smooth transition to school.

Our qualified team is highly experienced in early learning and builds strong, trusting relationships with children and families to support a confident start to school. Children from our centre will often go on to attend Aldinga Beach Primary School, Aldinga Payinthi College, Southern Vales Christian College or Cardijn College, Galilee Campus.

At Edge Aldinga Beach, your child’s wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. Our team prioritises safeguarding children through daily practices, enhanced training programs, and adherence to national child safety principles. Our Preschool program is delivered by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher and experienced educators to build school-ready skills including early literacy, numeracy, independence, self-help skills, emotional regulation, and social skills.

Key milestones include:

  • Social & Emotional: Learning to navigate emotions, share, take turns, and build positive relationships.
  • Language & Literacy: Speaking in sentences (telling stories, asking and answering simple questions), and following simple rules and instructions.

Q: What do I need to bring?

A: At Edge Early Learning Aldinga Beach, we aim to make life as easy as possible for you, so we supply most of the necessities including sustainable nappies, wipes, sunscreen, bedding, and nutritious meals (breakfast to a late snack) to ensure your child is well-cared for throughout the day. However, there are a few items that you will need to bring to ensure your child has everything they need:

  • Hat and drink bottle (supplied on enrolment)
  • Spare clothes (3 sets)

Featuring a variety of whole foods and culturally inspired dishes, meals can be tailored to suit individual tastes, dietary needs, and allergy requirements—ensuring every child receives nourishing meals each day.
