Edge volunteers with Baby Give Back
15 September, 2020
Edge Early Learning is thrilled to have an established relationship with Baby Give Back – an organisation which provides essential baby items to families in crisis to help give their children a safe start to life.
On August 13, the team based at Edge Early Learning’s Support Office in South Brisbane, spent the day volunteering their time to Baby Give Back by packing Safe Start Boxes. See the video here.
The boxes are filled with essential baby items that have been donated to the charity, ensuring that the family who receives it will have everything their baby needs and deserves to have an equal start in life.
Baby Give Back is such a wonderful organisation – their initiatives provide an enormous impact to families in need who receive their donations, and Edge is thrilled to be able to partner with the cause.
Edge Early Learning would also like to extend a big thank you to suppliers, ABC School Supplies and JAM BERRY Childcare Linen for their generous donations on the day.
As part of its partnership with Baby Give Back, Edge is holding collection days at one of its Brisbane and Sunshine Coast centres over the coming months. This will provide an opportunity for people who would like to donate good quality baby items, ranging from nappies and wipes, through to prams, cots, car seats and everything else in between, to drop them off at their nearest Edge centre.
Collection dates and locations are as follows:
Edge Early Learning West End – Montague Road – 9.00am to 11.00am on Saturday 10th October
Edge Early Learning Aroona – 9.00am to 11.00am on Saturday 7th November (free coffee for donators provided by The Power Station Co.)
