Committed to providing children with the best start in life through inspiring a love of learning and a strong sense of wellbeing in early years.

Edge Early Learning is a privately owned and operated company, established in 2017, with a growing number of childcare and kindergarten centres across Queensland, South Australia and the Australian Capital Territory. The qualified team at Edge Early Learning focuses on delivering quality early learning programs and building lasting relationships with each child and their family to create a welcoming environment where all families feel valued and respected.

Our Philosophy

The Edge Early Learning curriculum follows the Government’s Early Years Learning Framework that supports children through their kindergarten years in becoming socially, emotionally and cognitively ready for school.

Our philosophy of learning is an inquiry-based approach, where children are encouraged to ask questions, explore new ideas, and learn through play. This type of learning celebrates the individual interests of each child which enables them to become more engaged in their learning and sets the foundation for a successful transition to school.

Why Choose Us?

At Edge Early Learning, we believe that all children should have access to quality education and childcare in their early years to provide them with the best start in life.

Our services included added conveniences to families such as extended opening hours and a variety of session times, as well as meals, nappies, sunscreen and wipes included and on-site parking available at all centres.

Sustainability

Practising sustainability in a child’s early years empowers them to construct knowledge, explore values and develop an appreciation of the environment and its relationship to their world. Edge Early Learning focuses on teaching children about the importance of sustainability throughout all our early learning programs.

In the classroom, Edge Early Learning educators and team members understand we are responsible for what we throw away. We encourage children to do the same with recycling stations in each childcare centre to help children learn about the different types of recyclable waste. When outdoors we are conscious about our natural environment and enjoy learning about our native flora and fauna and how we can help to preserve the natural wonders of our land.

As a company, we are also conscious about our carbon footprint. We have installed solar panels at all greenfield centres and most original childcare centres have had solar panels installed to reduce reliance on fossil fuels, helping to generate clean energy and protect the environment for future generations.

On top of this, Edge Early Learning has introduced environmentally friendly cleaning products, biodegradable bamboo wipes, recycling stations and vegetable gardens in our childcare centres. This aims to create healthier environments and minimise waste whilst teaching children about the importance of sustainability and instil in them the importance of adopting environmentally friendly practices.

Health & Wellbeing

Edge Early Learning is passionate about the health and wellbeing of children. Our educators, team members and in-house chefs place a strong importance on healthy eating and active lifestyles throughout their curriculum.

This includes physical activity, mindfulness, nutritional education and activities that promote self-esteem and a sense of belonging.

Research & Development

Edge Early Learning is committed to designing its services around the needs of the community. Their research and development team are regularly analysing where there the demand for childcare outweighs the current supply in the community and focuses on developing high-quality early learning centres filled with state-of-the-art resources.

Edge Early Learning also welcomes regular feedback from local families. We deeply value this input from local families to continuously improve our centres and programs often making amendments to services to better cater to the needs of the community, such as amending open hours to cater to shift workers.
