Connected by passion

Making a difference, together.

Our diverse team of Educators, ECT’s, Centre Directors, Coordinators, Cooks and Support Office Employees are all as passionate as one another about making a difference to the young lives in our community and ensuring they get the best start in life.

Working at Edge is not like working for any other corporate company. Here, you have a voice, your suggestions are heard, there are multiple support pillars around you, and the entire network celebrates our wins together!

The leading edge

Take your leadership to new heights.

As part of our commitment to inspiring and rewarding professional development, we have a Leadership Program called “Leading Edge”. The program is tailored to facilitate ongoing connection, share knowledge, and empower team members to maintain innovation, strength, and leadership within their individual teams.

We host an annual “Leading Edge” event where our team comes together to connect and feel refreshed while gaining invaluable knowledge through inspiring workshops and motivational speakers. At this years event, our team enjoyed a few days away at Tangalooma Island Resort where they engaged in range of activities designed to strengthen bonds and inspire our leaders. Highlights included dolphin feeding, a Banana Life team-building scavenger hunt, whale watching, and professional development sessions. Keynote speaker, Alina Dan, delivered an impactful Coaching and Strategising session leaving our team feeling inspired with new ideas and insights.

Centre Directors continue to connect virtually once a week to discuss their chosen topics and support each other in implementing new ideas for continuous improvement. The program has been a great success and has helped our Centre Directors to grow and develop their leadership skills.

Stay supported

Create meaningful connections.

At Edge, we understand the importance of a support network to assist you in reaching your early childhood professional development goals. Our team has a wealth of hands-on industry experience and know-how to share and help you excel in your early childhood career.

Educator Support Program

We host monthly “Connections Meetings” for leadership roles such as Centre Directors, which provides a platform to discuss industry topics and operation advancements. These meetings enable our talented team of educators to stay on the cutting edge of the early childhood industry whilst receiving valuable mentorship and ongoing support in their professional development.

At Edge, we also champion our educators to reach their career milestones. All teachers are provided with additional support as they go about achieving their accreditations, traineeships, degrees or diplomas. On top of this, new Centre Directors are paired with another Centre Director during onboarding as an ongoing mentor to learn from and exchange knowledge with.

Community Hubs

Become a part of something bigger with Edge’s educator platform StoryPark. All educators at Edge are invited to join our learning community where they can ask questions, share ideas and stay up to date on everything happening at Edge. This fosters a professional culture of informed and knowledgeable educators to provide the best possible care to all children.

Rewards & recognition

Celebrating our achievements.

At Edge, we don’t let the little wins go unnoticed and we celebrate our achievements whether they are large or small. Our monthly “Visionary Awards” recognise the accomplishments of our wonderful educators and leaders at Edge and aligns with our core company values of Quality, Passion, Leadership, Dedication, Authenticity and Acceptance. With winners each receiving a gift card and the sought-after award title, this fosters a supportive culture that encourages professional development and career growth in early education.

Our leadership roles have:

  • Highly competitive salaries
  • School holiday leave, non-contract time and set hours for ECT’s
  • Networking opportunities both within Edge and the wider community
  • Outstanding opportunities for career progression with a new and growing organisation

What our team says about working at Edge

Why our team loves Edge

“Not many services I have worked in the past have had the CEO visit their services let alone be a part of meetings and/or training. I did not expect to be a director as originally I only wanted to work in Brisbane as a casual however I loved the opportunities I have been given and enjoy the challenges that I have faced.”
Ashleigh, Centre Director at Montague Rd
“I was inspired even more and by the way Edge has their approach to learning, the culture and strength of the team also. I am very impressed and excited to learn more as I go on and gain even more knowledge than what I have and I have to thank Edge for the opportunity to embrace my passion for education and the framework to ensure the children are getting the best possible start.”
Kim, South Brisbane
“The reason I love working for Edge is because I align 100% with what the Edge vision is. I am very thankful to be part of a centre that is current in regards to environments, practice and programming! Incredible right! I absolutely love that there are many avenues in either educational and finances that are available to people that want to pursue and develop more!”
Jayne, North Pimpama
“Having been in the industry for 20 years and working in the classroom, I was feeling as though I needed a new lens, that I had something else to offer the industry. I am now educational leader at our centre and really enjoying the new challenge of bringing our centre up to best practice and supporting our wonderful staff to achieve this.”
Roxy, Educational Leader at Aroona
