Our Teach A Rainbow education program is a nurturing approach designed to support your child’s curiosity, creativity, and essential developmental skills. It fosters social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth through engaging play-based experiences that are personalised to your child’s interests and learning goals. Embracing an inquiry-based approach to early learning, we foster a culture of curiosity, enabling children to ask questions, discover new interests, and cultivate a passion for lifelong learning.
Every fortnight we have the local library van come to the centre. Regular library van visits help to foster a lifelong love of learning and reading while enriching the early learning experience for each child. These visits introduce children to the concept of libraries in a fun, interactive way. It familiarises them with borrowing books and library routines, making them more likely to visit libraries in the future.
Our relationship with Angle Vale Primary School supports a smooth transition, with school teachers visiting our children to build familiar relationships. Our preschool children leave with a strong sense of self, independence and the social skills we’ve nurtured together.
Families tell us our long-standing team of educators makes them feel welcome each day and at ease knowing their child is in loving hands. The delicious smells from our kitchen are a bonus too, with an on-site chef preparing nutritious meals from breakfast through to a late afternoon snack.

Key benefits
Hi, I’m Sharon. With a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) and 22 years of experience, I opened Edge Early Learning Merlot Road in January 2024 and have loved building a genuine village from the ground up. I’m passionate about early literacy and building positive relationships with every child, family, and educator in our community.
Community is at the heart of everything we do here. We’ve created a community library where families and children can borrow books, source our meat and fresh produce from local suppliers, and open our doors to family organised speech therapists and occupational therapists who support children onsite. We also welcome local schools to visit our preschool children and to support their transition to school.
We warmly welcome families from Angle Vale and the surrounding northern Adelaide community. Book a tour and come and experience our centre for yourself!
