A few words from our Centre Director, Kasey

It takes a village to raise a child. When leading the team of Educators at Edge Early Learning Silkstone, this will be at the forefront of how we build relationships with children and families. Ipswich has always been home for myself and my family so I am excited to bring Edge into the community of Silkstone and be a place where children can be supported and nurtured during their early years.

About the Centre

Edge Early Learning Silkstone provides quality child care and education tailored to children from 6 weeks to school age. The new purpose-built childcare and kindergarten centre, located next to Silkstone Village, is filled with an exciting range of natural environments and modern educational resources for your children to explore.

The custom-designed early learning centre features indoor-outdoor learning spaces that enable children to harness their learning potential. We implement an inquiry based approach where children are encouraged to ask questions, explore new interests and develop a love of learning through play-based experiences.

At Edge we aim to make life as easy as possible for you, so we supply most of the necessities. However, there are a few items that you will need to bring to ensure your child has everything they need.

'Absolutely LOVE this centre! As someone who has worked for 17years in the industry I am extremely picky when it comes to choosing the right centre for my children! The staff are always welcoming and friendly. They are very engaging and ensure all needs are met. My youngest is severely anaphylactic to dairy and the centre staff have gone above and beyond to ensure he is safe and away from harm! My daughter also has some specific needs and this are always met. Nothing is too much trouble and I really value the educators that work her!
