I believe a strong, motivated team of Early childhood Educators helps children to experience an easier transition into a new environment. I am building a team where our core value is to inspire all children to grow to be competent and confident young learners who are healthy in mind, body and spirit, secure in their sense of belonging and secure in the knowledge that they make a valued contribution to their community.

We believe you are your child’s first teacher. When we work collaboratively together, we help build strong learning foundations for your child.

About the Centre

Edge Early Learning Karana Downs is our latest purpose-built early learning centre located behind Mount Crosby State School. We provide quality child care and education tailored to children from 6 weeks to school age.

At Karana Down’s childcare centre, we are passionate about the health and well-being of children, which is why our program promotes healthy eating and active lifestyles. Our custom-designed centre features indoor-outdoor learning spaces that enable children to harness their learning potential in a space that suits their interests.

We implement an inquiry-based approach where children are encouraged to ask questions, explore new interests and develop a love of learning through play-based experiences. With a focus on a successful transition to school, each child receives a personalised program to provide the best early learning experience and aid in their growth and development.

At Edge we aim to make life as easy as possible for you, so we supply most of the necessities. However, there are a few items that you will need to bring to ensure your child has everything they need.

Tamara has been so accommodating and has gone out of her way on numerous occasions to assist us. Miss Tammy, Rebecca and all the staff are absolutely wonderful. It’s tough parting with your baby and the team here has helped to not only make it a smooth transition but a really fun and exciting experience. My son absolutely adores them and I cannot rave about them enough! If your looking for somewhere trustworthy, reliable, wholesome and that feels like part of the fam, then look no further.
