Edge Port Augusta is a family-first early learning and kindergarten centre in Port Augusta, where every day is filled with play, discovery and genuine connection. We regularly welcome families from Davenport and Stirling North too. If you’re searching for trusted Port Augusta childcare, you’ll feel right at home here. We’re incredibly proud to have achieved a 100% satisfaction score in our 2026 family surveys*. Our families tell us they appreciate our welcoming, supportive and friendly staff who prioritise open communication about children’s development and in centre experience.
We offer year-round care and education for children aged six weeks to school age, with each room lovingly designed to match the stage your child is at. Our Teach A Rainbow education program, developed in-house at Edge, keeps learning playful, purposeful and centred on each child. Your child will thrive participating in our dance and movement program, gardening and sustainability experiences and indigenous learning.
When the time comes, our children head off to Caritas College, Port Augusta West Primary School and Flinders View Primary School with a strong sense of self and the social skills we’ve been building together. As a bonus, we’re only a 1 minute drive to Port Augusta West Primary School and Caritas College, so the daily routine slots neatly into family life. Children will also graduate our centre to attend Augusta Park Primary School, Seaview Christian College, and Stirling North Primary School.
Our centre also offers a parent lounge, to take a breather on those busy mornings, because we know the little details help families feel at home.
Most importantly, we put your child’s wellbeing first. Through thoughtful safeguarding practices, regular upskilling and our adherence to the national child safety principles, we create the kind of environment where children feel secure to be themselves. And when it’s time to start school, our team will have worked alongside your child on the skills they’ll lean on in that first year: confidence, curiosity and independence, the fundamentals for a lifelong love of learning.
