Here at Edge Early Learning Aldinga Beach, we pride ourselves in creating a home away from home, an extended family. We have a passion for education and strive to teach practical life skills along with problem solving skills while recognising and developing each child’s individual strengths, skills, and interests. We believe in allowing the children the time to grow and develop while feeling safe, secure, and loved. With our strong emphasis on relationships not only with the children and their families but with our local community, together we are building strong, curious lifelong learners who believe in themselves and understand their value in the world.
Edge Early Learning Aldinga Beach, previously Where We Grow, provides quality childcare, kindergarten, and education for children 6 weeks to school age. The childcare centre has been custom designed with state-of-the-art facilities to suit the needs of the community, with calming spacious indoor learning areas and natural outdoor play areas dedicated to each age group. We are equipped with sandpits, a cubby house, natural gardens, spacious classrooms, modern resources and more!
With a focus on a successful transition to school, each child also receives a personalised program to provide the best early learning experience and aid in their growth and development. Our Nursery to Kindergarten programs, taught by certified educators, place a focus on sustainability through lessons about recycling, composting and gardening. Practising sustainability in a child’s early years empowers them to construct knowledge, explore values and develop an appreciation of the environment and its relationship to their world.
At Aldinga Beach childcare centre, we are passionate about the health and wellbeing of children, which is why our program promotes healthy eating and active lifestyles. Our in-house chef cooks all meals fresh daily with a different range of menu items for breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack. We cater to all dietary requirements and encourage children to try new flavours and cuisines, which they enjoy doing in the company of their friends at our communal meal times.
